Often times, resumes get lost in the quick sand because they have been run through scanning software meant to catch certain industry-specific keywords. If your resume doesnt include some of these keywords then it may be filtered to the quick sand section of the program and be readied for deletion. To avoid this from happening to you, its a good idea to conduct a good amount of research on the company, as well as the industry as a whole, to learn what words should be included in your resume.
If your resume is not rich with keywords specific to the functional role you're targeting, it won't get found in resume data bases. When you post your resume to a job board it's one of thousands in a data base. When you submit your resume to a company from an online job posting it ends up in a data base. When you apply with a third party recruiter your resume goes into a data base. Increase your odds of getting an interview by including the right keywords.
Education and Experience Section: These two sections are completely different, but their sequence in the document depends on experience. When a person does not have experience, then education section comes at the top and vice versa. In case if a person has part time experience or internship then also one should mention education section before professional experience. CV or resume is created to impress the recruiter hence the important or valuable information should be presented in the beginning of the document.
