Even though ATS have the capability to shop and sift through manuals based on desirable skills, they are not able to make final decision calls about applicants. Since candidate tracking systems have flaws, thankfully, recruiters don't rely entirely on them for locating candidates.
According to the latest research, there are at least 100 times more applicant compare to the number of job post available, which means if the company need 5 people for a particular job post, there will be at least 500 people sending in their resume to get the interview. In the other way round, the percentage of u getting the job will be around 1%.
5. If it includes dates from the early 1980s or 1970s, your resume might be old school. Dont age yourself on paper! Weigh the costs and benefits of sharing that old experience, or share it without the dates and consider the same for the dates on your degrees. Listing out-of-date technologies is also a giveaway.
If the writer provides you a canned or quick answer that seems one-size-fits-all, you should probably look around. While resumes typically contain similar features, form should be dictated by each candidate's unique profile. Every job seeker is unique and every resume should be as well.
