Vandy’s Senior Day Spoiled

Well, I’d have to say it’s our biggest throw-away of the season… The game was ours, then we stopped playing, South Carolina got up nine, and (for some reason) we were down 2 with 12 second remaining.

I know, the game doesn’t matter much in terms of NCAA seeding. But it leaves a sour taste in my mouth to see Jermaine go out like that at Memorial. He deserved to have a win today, and didn’t get it.

In pregame, I said we had to contain Devan Downey. And in the first half, that’s just what we did. But he went off in the second half, including a big-time 3 that ended up being the dagger.

Anyways, I don’t have much for postgame (still shell-shocked we lost). Feel free to use the comment board as a thread to vent your feeling/rants. I’ll reply to everything you say…

    Thanks Jace- I dont want to sound negative but Tennessee tool care of business and I think Ky will do the same tomorrow with FLorida. It is tournament time baby – one and done is a matter of attitude- just has the Lipscomb boys down the street- won their conference and let a bottom feeder knock them out of the tourney.

    It is time for Kevin and the boys to rachet it up a few notches or they will get one game and a ticket back to Nashville. Kevin is smarter than this and will not let this go unnoticed by the players.

    Let’s not freak out to much, the game was a fluke. Stallings will get the guys back in order, I’m sure of it.
